The trade journal mo - Magazin für Oberflächentechnik with its online portal oberflaeche.de is published by I.G.T. Informationsgesellschaft Technik mbH (I.G.T. Verlag). The print edition is published 10 times a year. The magazine was founded in 1947 as "mo - Metalloberfläche", in 2004 I.G.T. Verlag took over the title from Carl-Hanser-Verlag. In 2011, it was renamed mo - Magazin für Oberflächentechnik (mo - Magazine for Surface Technology ) to cover all surface technology, and the Internet presence was also changed to oberflaeche.de.

The I.G.T. publishing house is a technical publisher based in Munich. It was founded in 1995 by Lothar Zobel, who is still the publisher and managing director. The publisher's office is located in Ottobrunn, a former center of the aerospace industry, just outside Munich.

The office of I.G.T. Verlag is located on the northwestern edge of the municipality of Ottobrunn near Munich at Jägerweg 10 on the second floor.

Approach by car

Via the A8 Munich-Salzburg and the freeway exit Unterhaching-Ost you will reach Jägerweg 10 in a few minutes. Coming from Munich from the city limits in Neuperlach you will also reach the Alte Landstraße in a few minutes via Carl-Wery-Straße and Neubiberg, where Jägerweg branches off. In front of the entrance on the right there is a guest parking lot marked with I.G.T. Verlag.

Arrival by public transport

The MVV bus line 210 stops in the immediate vicinity (less than a 5-minute walk) at the "Alte Landstraße" stop. During the day, there is a 10-minute frequency coming from the subway station Neuperlach-Süd (travel time Neuperlach Süd - Alte Landstraße approx. 5 minutes). The U5 subway line (every 5 - 10 minutes during the day) or the S-Bahn line 7 (every 20 minutes during the day) provide direct connections from Neuperlach Süd to Munich's city center and main train station (travel time Hauptbahnhof - Neuperlach Süd approx. 17 minutes) and to other destinations such as Munich Airport. In addition, the Neubiberg S-Bahn stop (S7) is about a 10-minute walk away.
