Hot dip galvanizing
Hot-dip galvanizing is a very effective corrosion protection process with a long tradition. It offers the possibility of reliably protecting steel components over many decades. With high-temperature galvanizing, for example, it is now possible to produce very thin and uniform zinc coatings. Particularly in combination with additional organic coatings, extraordinarily long protection durations can be achieved.

Pre-treatment of the steel surface is not only crucial before galvanising, but also before further refinement to a duplex-coated product. Processes such as sweep blasting or the combination of alkaline degreasing and pickling removal are used here.

Large steel structures or even works of art can be reliably galvanised - this is possible in Lower Saxony. The widest galvanising kettle in Germany is located here. And international business is also becoming more and more important.

DIN EN ISO 12944 "Paints and varnishes - Corrosion protection of steel structures by coating systems" standardises corrosion protection by organic wet coating systems on "black" and also on hot-dip galvanised steel (duplex systems). It has been completely updated.
