Led by Friedhelm U. Scholten, Chairman of the VOA and for many years managing director of two anodizing companies, the anodizing seminar compactly covers the individual treatment steps of the anodizing process, possible errors and their avoidance, as well as quality management and the associated required documentation. Consistent process analysis as well as detailed knowledge about possible errors, causes and effects are considered essential to establish optimal quality management.
For the first time, the VOA also deals in detail in its seminar with the topic of external pre-anodization, which will be taken into account as of 01.01.2023 in the specifications of the globally valid Qualicoat quality mark for coated aluminum. If this process step is commissioned externally from an anodizing company, special challenges arise at the interface between the anodizing and coating companies. In the future, Qualicoat will set special requirements for anodizers and coaters in its specifications, which must be complied with.
