"Smart Industry Live" - Oltrogge presents smart surface technology of tomorrow

Oltrogge GmbH & Co KG has been developing turnkey painting systems for every surface for decades, ensuring reliable quality, maximum process reliability and sustainable use of materials and resources. On November 10 and 11, 2021, the time has finally come: Oltrogge's machine hall will be transformed into a real production hall for the "Smart Industry live" event. At various stations, customers, partners and interested parties will learn how quality and reliability can be increased through fully automated painting processes or how sustainable energy management can measurably save costs and, on top of that, protect the environment. The focus is always on one question: How can companies remain competitive in the future?

Smart solutions for the industry

For a long time, the pandemic made any events impossible. "During this time, there were far too few face-to-face meetings with our customers. As an engineering partner, it is important for us to be in close exchange with them so that we can shape a successful future together. All the more we are now looking forward to our in-house event," says Marcus Scheiber, Managing Director at Oltrogge GmbH & Co KG.

At "Smart Industry live", the name says it all. Visitors will experience smart industrial products and clever, technical solutions live on site - from sustainable compressed air supply to partially automated CNC machining, industrial painting to networked measurement technology and fully automated tool and spare parts supply. The event sets clear impulses for companies that want to equip themselves for the future.

Maximum quality and sustainability in the painting process

As a special highlight, Oltrogge will show the simulation of the fully automated painting of an e-sports car using a robot application on 6 axes. The entire painting process, from compressed air generation, preparation and monitoring to paint supply, mixing and dosing technology (Regular 30) including color change system (pigging system) - both products from Oltrogge - to application technology will be shown on site. The robot arm moves along the silhouette of the e-sports car and simulates a fully automatic painting process. The painting system is equipped with camera systems to monitor the robot's movement patterns and to constantly monitor the painting results. In addition to the quality of the paint job, the focus is also on the sustainability of the system. Oltrogge shows how a distillation or pigging system can be used to massively save material and disposal costs.

Sustainable compressed air concepts for all applications

Whether painting plant, conveyor technology or robot use - all applications require a reliable compressed air supply for trouble-free operation. True to the company's philosophy of "saving the world", Oltrogge uses a transparent comparative calculation to show the impressive energy-saving potential offered by compressor technology from market leader and partner Atlas Copco. For skeptical customers, Oltrogge has even developed a "savings guarantee". As a manufacturer-independent service partner, Oltrogge continues to show how compressors of any brand can be digitally connected by a smart external compressor control and thus sustainably controlled. This measurably saves energy, protects the environment and supports companies in energy management according to ISO 50.001.

Those who do not only want to experience machines in action can talk to Oltrogge customers, partners and suppliers in an informal way. In short impulse presentations, they will report directly from practice about their experiences with products, systems and digital solutions and will then be available to answer questions from the audience.
