At GIFA 2023 trade show from June 12 - 16, Vulkan Inox will showcase the Chronital and Grittal blasting abrasives, which the company has been producing exclusively with renewable energy since 2022. Vulkan Inox is thus improving the eco-balance of its customers. They are produced from melted steel scrap and completely returned to the metal cycle. As a result, the reusable stainless steel blasting agents reduce consumption to just a few percent compared with mineral blasting agents.
Vulkan Inox induction furnaces are powered 100 percent by regenerative electrical energy. The blasting media wear very slowly on impact with the workpieces and circulate repeatedly in a closed circuit. The high dimensional stability of the individual stainless steel grains prevents the formation of dust. Their use also reduces waste volumes and disposal costs.
