Surventis has unveiled the NEXISTENTIAL Automotive Color Trends collection. It is the first edition released under the new Surventis brand as a standalone, independent company. The collection draws on global developments in society, technology, consumer behavior, nature, and mobility, translating them into concepts for colors, surfaces, and textures in the automotive sector.
The NEXISTENTIAL theme describes the search for direction in a world of constant change. According to the company, technological innovations, shifting values, environmental challenges, and new lifestyles are transforming the way people live, work, and travel worldwide. To this end, the color palette combines bold, expressive colors with calm tones. Rich blues, vibrant reds, warm neutrals, and pastel shades are paired with effect pigments and surfaces that create different impressions depending on the light and viewing angle.
Mark Gutjahr, Global Head of Design at Surventis, says: “As people increasingly seek experiences that are relevant and authentic, mobility must meaningfully combine physical and digital experiences.” Colors, materials, and surfaces play an important role in this.
Three Key Colors for the Regions
At the heart of the collection are three key regional color tones that offer different responses to global transformation. Horizon Flux represents the Asia-Pacific region. The shade reinterprets classic silver and subtly shifts with light and movement, creating an impression of depth while maintaining a calm and balanced appearance.
Surventis Chromotopic Metal has been assigned to the Americas. The color shifts between white and silver, combining the clarity of white with the depth of metallic silver. Mica technology for efficient two-coat finishes enables a pronounced metallic effect with a clear visual impact.
The shade Motile Red, assigned to the EMEA region, combines burgundy tones with vibrant red highlights. The formulation contains non-fossil raw materials and recycled pigments. In this way, the shade demonstrates how sustainability and innovation can be brought together in automotive color design.
First Collection Under the New Brand
Chiharu Matsuhara, Regional Head of Design Asia Pacific at Surventis, describes NEXISTENTIAL as the launch of the new brand: “The collection marks the beginning of a new chapter for Surventis. Our name has changed, but our passion for innovation, outstanding design, and collaboration with our customers remains unchanged.” Automakers are using the collection’s trends as inspiration for the development of future vehicles.
