Rebecca Koch appointed CHRO at Surventis

Surventis has appointed Dr Rebecca Koch as Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the Executive Committee effective 1 September 2026. She will lead the coating technology company’s global HR organisation, with a focus on corporate culture, leadership and people development.

Dr Rebecca Koch has taken over the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Surventis. In her new role, she is responsible for the global HR organisation and also joins the Executive Committee. Her priorities include corporate culture and leadership as well as the workforce capabilities required to support the company’s growth and performance objectives.

Koch has more than 15 years of international leadership experience in human resources. Her previous positions include roles at software group Nemetschek and DB Schenker, where she was responsible for HR management in Europe covering up to 50,000 employees.

International HR leadership experience

Before this, Koch held several HR leadership positions at US medical technology company Becton Dickinson. Based in Singapore, she most recently led Talent & Culture activities across the wider Asian region. Earlier in her career, she headed personnel development and change management at airberlin and began her professional career at Bain & Company.

Koch succeeds Markus Dinslacken, who supported the HR organisation through the carve-out from BASF. She studied business mathematics and holds a doctorate in behavioural finance. She also completed the International Directors Programme at INSEAD Business School. Her professional interests include artificial intelligence and its impact on human resources.
