Thanks to DS technology, the new time-of-flight sensor with wintec detects objects on surfaces even if they do not stand out in color. Wenglor's entire portfolio can be seen at the SPS in Nuremberg.

The Wenglor Sensoric Group is presenting the new P1PY2 generation of time-of-flight sensors with wintec and the P1XD fiber optic amplifier at Smart Production Solutions. The company's portfolio also includes sensors with a wide range of functional principles and components for image processing systems.

Dark, shiny or transparent - no problem

Thanks to DS technology, the new P1PY2 time-of-flight sensors with wintec effortlessly detect objects on all surfaces, regardless of whether they are dark, shiny or transparent. The intuitive laser sensors work on the principle of time-of-flight measurement. A new fiber optic amplifier will also be on show at the SPS. The products of the P1XD series are characterized by a compact design and high flexibility, which enables easy integration into different applications. Thanks to the modular design principle, plastic and glass light guides as well as different sensor heads can be combined.

Flexibly scalable hardware for image processing

In the machine vision sector, Wenglor recently added new machine vision controllers and industrial cameras to its product portfolio. The powerful uniVision 3 software has been integrated into the ecosystem for operating all Wenglor hardware. It is flexibly scalable and evaluates images and 2D/3D profiles from the weCat3D series in a single system.
