The cooperation between the NORA Center Wolfsburg and the national vehicle painting team was officially announced during a training session at the WorldSkills Performance Center of the Vocational Training and Technology Center (BTZ) Weiterstadt. The center supplies independent workshops, body and paint stores and fleet customers with genuine parts from Volkswagen Group brands and other manufacturers.
Training on vehicle parts
Thanks to the sponsorship, the members of the national team will be able to train on a wide range of vehicle parts in future. "The variety of genuine parts enables us to recreate the exact work situations that will later be required in the competitions," says national coach Mariusz Dechnig. The participants are preparing for international competitions such as AsiaSkills and WorldSkills.
Promoting young talent on the international stage
During the training in Weiterstadt, it was also decided who will represent Germany at AsiaSkills 2025 in Taiwan: 20-year-old Noah Seiler will take part in the competition from November 27 to 29 out of competition. International performance comparisons such as AsiaSkills are considered an important building block in the preparation for WorldSkills 2026 in Shanghai.
Broad sponsorship alliance
The commitment complements a broad sponsorship alliance that already includes partners such as Automechanika Frankfurt, Carbon, DAT, Dräger, Fix Auto, Miracle and SchöffelPro. Glasurit provides the paints to be processed.
