The employment contract of Chief Executive Officer Mathias Bucksteeg, which runs until September 2026 inclusive, will not be extended beyond this date, according to a statement from the association. Against this backdrop and in order to facilitate a swift change, the Executive Board has released Bucksteeg from his duties with effect from October 1, 2025.
