After the storms and heavy rainfall of the past few weeks, the equipment of the emergency organizations based in the Neu-Ulm district is in constant use. Replacements are urgently needed. With a donation of three powerful ATTIX 751-71 MWF liquid vacuum cleaners, Nilfisk is therefore providing neighborly assistance. The three water vacuum cleaners supplement the equipment pool of the Illertissen and Weißenhorn fire departments and the town of Schrobenhausen. In addition, the town of Schrobenhausen received an MC 3C-150/660 cold water high-pressure cleaner.
Making the work of the emergency services easier
Liquid vacuum cleaners and high-pressure cleaners make the work of the emergency services much easier. Submersible pumps and portable pumps pump out water in the building up to a height of ten centimeters. While high-pressure cleaners then wash the remaining dirt off the walls, liquid or water vacuum cleaners suck up the remaining water. The remaining water is pumped outside via a fire hose (C-hose). An integrated personal protection switch switches off the machines in the event of a fault, thus protecting the emergency services from an electrical accident.
Also useful for other emergencies
However, the liquid vacuum cleaners are also important helpers for the fire department in the event of leaks in fresh water pipes, backwater or for collecting other, non-flammable liquids. For example, they ensure that the extinguishing water is quickly removed from the scene of an indoor fire.
