Since color differences can occur on metals depending on the material composition and surface properties, binding color and limit samples between the customer and the company carrying out the work provide a remedy. This is where the anodizing color fan of the Verband für die Oberflächenveredelung von Aluminium e. V. (VOA) comes into play.
The fan is made of anodized aluminum and serves as an initial, rough color orientation for planning and coordination between the contract partners. When the order is placed, the accepted spectrum with precisely described deviations must then be contractually specified. With C-0 and C-31 to C-35, the VOA anodizing color guide represents the six most commonly used colors of anodized aluminum. Of course, the anodizing companies also offer other colors, such as the gray shades C-36 to C-38 or strong Sandalor colors.
