LIGNA 2023 will show how the efficiency, quality and sustainability of woodworking can be optimized, e..g. through machine learning. As a key technology, ongoing digititaization is bringing about fundamental change throughout the woodworking and wood processing value chain, not only in industry but also in the craft sector. Over the course of 5000 m², the trade fair will showcase large-scale plants for industrial companies through to stand-alone machines for the craft sector.
LIGNA has been accompanying this development as an international impetus and pacesetter for years, and now "Transformation of Woodworking" is consistently continuing the successful focus themes of 2019 ("Woodworking Networked - Tailor-made Solutions") and 2017 ("Networked Manufacturing"). The Hybrid Guided Tours and the LIGNA.Stage round off the "Transformation of Woodworking" focus theme at LIGNA.23 with special formats tailored to the needs of target groups in the fields of crafts, industrial manufacturing, forestry technology and, not least, IT security.
