With the completion of the acquisition, Kansai Helios becomes the new owner of Weilburger Coatings, which consists of group companies in Germany, Italy, France, Turkey, USA, Brazil, India and China. Weilburger Coatings, headquartered in Weilburg, Germany, consists of 100% Weilburger Coatings GmbH in Weilburg, Germany, and 100% Weilburger Asia Limited in Hong Kong, China.
Strengthening the market position
The transaction was first announced in February 2024. The consolidation will enable Kansai Helios to strengthen its market position in a broad range of industrial coatings segments and expand its international geographic footprint.
A company rich in tradition
Weilburger Coatings can look back on more than 120 years of existence. The company employs around 600 people at seven production sites and several sales offices worldwide. The group has built up well-known brands such as Greblos, senorail and senotherm and currently has a turnover of 150 million euros. The focus is on non-stick, high-temperature, railroad and specialty coatings.
