Kansai Helios acquires Wefa

Kansai Helios has completed the acquisition of Westdeutsche Farben GmbH (wefa) by the newly established group company Kansai Helios Wefa. The Group now has a second site in Germany.

wefa's decades of experience with water-based coatings expands the Kansai Helios Group's know-how and creates new opportunities in product development. This marks another important milestone in Kansai Helios' ESG strategy.

Under the umbrella of Kansai Helios, wefa will continue its business operations at the current location in Essen. Wefa's products complement the Group's range of coatings for rail vehicles and ACE (agricultural, construction and earthmoving) machinery.
