Trainees from Atlas Copco GmbH had organized a rally with several stations for the Future Day. This gave the pupils an impression of the activities in the various company departments. In the workshops, they were particularly impressed by the high-end assembly of the vehicle battery of an electric car. There they were able to work with localization technology and professional worker guidance - just like at premium car manufacturers.
Group work in marketing
In marketing, they learned how to best sell technical content in terms of language and imagery so that it attracts the interest of users in trade and industry. Among other things, creativity was required as part of group work: suitable hashtags had to be found for images of machines and devices.
Diverse professions presented
At the end of the rally, there was a lively exchange between the guests and the trainees. "The Future Day was a wonderful opportunity for our young guests to open the doors to a world of opportunities," said Jessica Koenen from Atlas Copco's HR department. "We were able to show them that there are countless professions in which they can realize their talents and interests - regardless of gender or social background." Koenen now hopes that there may even be some future apprentices among the young people.
