Covestro is presenting its portfolio for the coatings and adhesives industry at the European Coatings Show (ECS) 2025 in Nuremberg. The company will be showcasing its new developments from March 25 - 27 in Hall 4A, Stand 438. One focus will be on technologies that increase productivity while promoting the circular economy.
New solution for the automotive industry
With its new direct coating technology, Covestro is presenting a solution for the automotive industry that simplifies the coating process and makes it more sustainable. The technology enables the direct coating of plastic components in the injection molding machine without pre-treatment or separate painting and drying. Covestro will be exhibiting products manufactured using this process at the ECS.
Focus on sustainability
Covestro wants to focus entirely on the circular economy. To make more sustainable products more easily recognizable, the company has introduced the "CQ" label. The abbreviation "CQ" stands for "Circular Intelligence". Products labeled with it contain at least 25% renewable raw materials. Some of these products, which are used in coatings and adhesives, will be on display at the ECS.
