Polytec, a provider in the field of optical measurement technology, is expanding its portfolio and is taking over the distribution of optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras from Canadian manufacturer Cantronic Systems for Europe with immediate effect. With this partnership, the medium-sized company is expanding its expertise in the detection and visualization of gas leaks in order to provide even more comprehensive support to customers in industries such as oil and gas, chemicals and energy supply.
MWIR detectors recognize over 400 VOCs
Thanks to the highly sensitive MWIR detectors, these cameras offer accurate and fast gas leak detection. The versatile models for portable, stationary and drone-based applications enable the detection of over 400 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and methane. Of particular note is the real-time visualization of gases, which enables an immediate response to potential hazards. The robust, corrosion-resistant designs ensure use even under extreme conditions.
Polytec advises and trains customers
As part of this cooperation, Polytec is not only responsible for sales, but also provides advice, feasibility studies, training and services.
