Solutions are needed for a more sustainable and resilient process industry. The kick-off event of ACHEMA 2024 will therefore focus on the question of how the process industry can successfully position itself in a changing world.

The 34th ACHEMA opens its doors in Frankfurt in June. The chemical trade fair will focus on the question of how the process industry can successfully position itself in a changing world. Solutions to this and many other challenges will also be the focus of the 2,700 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, who will be presenting a diverse range of innovations and products in twelve exhibition groups and a special show.

Discussion of solutions

Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck opens ACHEMA 2024 via video. Following the welcome address by Klaus Schäfer, Chairman of DECHEMA e.V., Julia Schlenz, President Dow Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Friederike Köhler-Geib, Chief Economist of KfW Group, and Markus Miertz, Member of the Executive Board of SAMSON AG, will share their views on the situation, critically examine exemplary challenges and discuss possible solutions.

Young technical and scientific talent in demand

On all five days of the trade fair, numerous offers for young talent will also contribute to securing the future of the industry. "ACHEMA once again underlines its role as a central platform and meeting place for all players in the process industry. With a significant increase in exhibitors and a diverse lecture program, this year's show also offers a good opportunity for young technical and scientific talent", says Dr. Björn Mathes, Managing Director of DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH.
