The title of this year's event is "New concepts in powder coating materials". Savvas Legidis from IGP Pulvertechnik AG will give a presentation on "New trends and developments in coating powders" and Dr. Christopher Hubrich from Fraunhofer IPA will speak on "Production, application and crosslinking of powder coating mixtures from two components - exemplary results of the CORNET project LiP". The event is being organized by the Association of Paint and Varnish Engineers VILF and FG Lackchemie in the German Chemical Society GDCh, with the Fraunhofer IPA and Esslingen University of Applied Sciences as well as the Fachschule für Lacktechnik Stuttgart and the Forschungsgesellschaft für Pigmente und Lacke (FPL).
During the event, prizes from the companies Mankiewicz and FreiLacke will be awarded to students of the bachelor's degree program in chemical engineering/paint and lacquer. Following the technical event, there will again be the opportunity for extensive discussions with professional colleagues during a social get-together. Participation in the event is free of charge.
