The "Surface Technology" course at Krems UAS, which was held for the first time in summer 2021, will be repeated next year. The English-language course offers an additional qualification in the field of surface and materials chemistry. Participants deal with basic principles and special techniques of materials science and deepen their know-how in production, manufacturing technologies and the properties of important products. With two weeks in January and two weeks in April, the courses are offered in blocks, so that compatibility with existing work or study schedules is possible. Participants are laboratory technicians who want to deepen their knowledge, as well as application engineers and purchasers who need surface technology training. The course is also suitable for quality officers in the field of surface technology and, in general, chemists/technicians who would like further training in the field of surface technology.
