"The Zeus rail combines power and precision by moving heavy loads and even load carriers with a small contact surface safely and gently," says Thomas Otto, Managing Director of Torwegge GmbH & Co. With a small roller spacing and high load capacity, the multi-transfer rail enables the safe transportation of load carriers even with narrow or unfavourable contact surfaces - including mesh boxes, pallets, just-in-time (JIT) or just-in-sequence (JIS) racks. The staggered arrangement and narrow pitch of the ball bearings ensure smooth movement. The internal transport solution is versatile.
Small distances between the ball bearings for smooth running
The key features of the Zeus rail are the arrangement and spacing of the robust galvanized steel rollers: three staggered 6002-ZZ C3 ball bearings with a spacing of 26 millimetres ensure maximum stability and smooth, even running, even on minimal contact surfaces and uneven surfaces. The ball bearings are maintenance-free and durable.
For use in conveyor systems, warehouses and assembly stations
With a load capacity of 200 kilograms per axle or 1,000 kilograms per meter, the Zeus rail is ideal for use in conveyor systems, warehouse technology, mechanical engineering and assembly stations. It is particularly effective in first-in, first-out (FIFO) systems, as it enables the automatic replenishment of load carriers as soon as they are removed thanks to a gravity-supported flow of goods. The rail also improves ergonomics at the workplace, as loads can be moved in a way that is easy on the back and joints.
Connecting several rails together
The integrated lateral guide ensures that transported goods run in a controlled and directional manner, preventing them from slipping or tipping over unintentionally. By connecting several rails, the transport route can be flexibly extended and adapted to the individual storage conditions. In this way, for example, different work stations can be linked together.
