Torwegge GmbH & Co. KG will be presenting the Torwegge monorail system (THB) live in action at LogiMAT in Stuttgart from March 11 to 13.

The modular, ceiling-mounted Torwegge overhead conveyor (THB) provides a space-saving and flexible solution for in-house material transportation. It can move loads of up to 300 kilograms per meter and is particularly suitable for transporting, buffering and sorting a wide variety of goods over long distances. At the LogiMAT trade fair, a live showcase will be on display at stand 10F40 in hall 10, demonstrating the functions of the THB.

Free floor area offers greater flexibility

Thanks to ceiling mounting, the floor area of the THB remains free and can be used for other activities. The modular design makes it easy to adapt or expand to a changed material flow. Interaction between conveyed goods and people on the floor is minimized, which also reduces the risk of accidents. The system's versatility makes it suitable for transporting a wide variety of goods such as clothing, car parts or electronics.

Conveyor length of up to 30 meters

The overhead conveyor is suitable for both manual push conveyors and automated infeed and outfeed processes for a wide variety of goods over long distances. The conveying length per motor is up to 30 meters, depending on the transport weight, and the system can reach a total conveying length of 100 to 200 meters. The speed varies depending on the weight and is between five and 40 m/min.
