In a new image brochure, the Verband der deutschen Lack- und Druckfarbenindustrie e.V. now presents itself, its activities and its member companies. The brochure is aimed at companies wishing to find out about membership, as well as interested VdL members and stakeholders. On 44 pages, the VdL accompanies the complex issues of the industry at all levels: The political work is presented in the booklet, as is the regulatory work on the most important areas. It deals with economic analyses, scientific studies and public relations work.
The image brochure is also intended to convey to interested parties the ideas with which a sector of German coatings and printing inks manufacturers continuously develop their products. Today, modern coatings protect products worldwide and conserve resources. Modern manufacturing technology enables self-cleaning surfaces, and antimicrobial coatings protect patients in hospitals from viruses and germs. There are heat and light-reflecting paints. High-tech coatings make cars faster and reduce their fuel consumption.
