The special publication of the German Coatings and Printing Inks Industry Association (VdL) "Color in the Green Deal" deals with the transformation of the chemical industry that is to be expected as a result of the EU Commission's Green Deal.

Not all market participants are yet aware of the transformation of the economy that lies ahead, especially for the chemical industry in Europe. The new brochure "Color in the Green Deal" published by the German Coatings and Printing Inks Association (VdL) therefore aims to focus on the EU Commission's major project for the industry. According to the EU Commission, the Green Deal is intended to lay the foundations for a sustainable European Union - and to do so promptly. The legislative machinery is running at full speed: chemicals strategy, ecological footprint or circular economy are buzzwords, but so far they still leave many questions unanswered in detail.

The new VdL brochure "Color in the Green Deal" provides an overview of the most important policy areas of the Green Deal for the industry on almost 50 pages and attempts to provide answers and requirements for successful regulation. In a clear manner, the four most important areas for the paint industry are presented, analyzed and their importance is shown. At the end of each chapter, a summary classifies the position of the VdL and its members.
