VDI presents value analysis award to Hansgrohe

Reducing costs, increasing quality - according to the VDI, Hansgrohe has achieved this in an excellent way. The Association of German Engineers presents the VDI Value Management Award every year. This year, the Hansgrohe team impressed with the production of a shower thermostat.

On May 14, 2024, the Value Analysis Practice Day took place in Bad Pyrmont. As part of the Practice Day, the VDI's Value Management/Value Analysis department presented the Value Management Award. The team led by Philip Stephan and Manuel Jilg from Hansgrohe SE received the VDI Value Management Award for their achievements in "Cost and installation optimization through a value-analytical revision of a product".

Reducing costs, improving installation

The award-winning project not only significantly reduced costs, but also increased efficiency and quality in assembly and installation and improved customer satisfaction. The success of the project has helped to firmly anchor value analysis in the company.

Collaboration between two interdisciplinary teams

The award-winning project was carried out by two interdisciplinary teams who worked together to optimize a shower thermostat. Using new methods, these teams showed that the combination of technical know-how and creative problem-solving skills can lead to success.
