The new U30T ultrasonic sensor from Wenglor delivers long ranges with a small blind zone. A working range of 100 to 1,900 mm can be used as a reflex sensor. When used as an ultrasonic through-beam barrier, a working range of 100 to 3,800 mm is available.
Two operating modes possible
The new ultrasonic sensor offers two operating modes for the use of multiple sensors. In automatic synchronous mode, up to 32 sensors can be operated simultaneously. Multiplex mode is ideal for level detection of large areas and allows up to 16 sensors to be operated together.
Quick and space-saving installation
The short M30 threaded design supports quick and space-saving installation. Thanks to its IP67 protection rating, the U30T is impressively robust against environmental influences, while parameterization via IO-Link enables it to be ready for use quickly.
Versatile use
The sensor can be used both as a diffuse sensor and as an ultrasonic through-beam sensor. It can be adapted to the respective industrial requirements via the IO-Link interface
