And it was immediately clear that the special machine builder had all the important core competencies for this type of indoor farming.
In parallel, they scanned the market for indoor and vertical farming: Where are there already good solutions? Where are there still gaps that can be filled? "We found that there were still no uniform, intelligent control concepts for light and liquids," he recalls. "Yet digital processes in agriculture could be used to use land more efficiently, increase yields and save resources."
