Axalta, supplier of liquid and powder coatings, today announced the 100th installation of Axalta Irus Mix - a fully automated mixing system for the automotive refinish industry. The installation took place at the French body and paint store Carenove. They have been using Standox, one of Axalta's premium refinish brands, for over 20 years. "The installation of our hundredth system reinforces our commitment to helping our customers optimize their business through efficiencies and technology," says Troy Weaver, President Global Refinish at Axalta.
Mix refinish systems quickly
Axalta Irus Mix enables refinishers to quickly mix refinish systems. The system is easy to use and eliminates bottlenecks in the bodyshop by reducing painter workload and increasing utilization. At the same time, it offers high color accuracy. As there is no material waste and the bottle system is made from 50 percent recycled plastic, Axalta Irus Mix was awarded the Edison Award2024 for innovation in the environmental and industrial solutions category
