technotrans continues to grow: the group increased its revenue significantly by 16.3 % to EUR 132.5 million in the first six months of the financial year.

The Executive Board expects sales to remain strong in the 2nd half of the year. Against the background of new economic and market-related challenges, it is therefore adjusting its forecast for fiscal 2023. It expects consolidated sales at the upper end of the range between 255 and 265 million euros. The expected EBIT margin is adjusted from the previous range of between 6.2 and 7.2% to between 5 and 6%. Accordingly, return on capital employed (ROCE) is expected to be in the range of 13.0% to 14.0%.

"The business development in the 1st half confirms that technotrans is consistently expanding its market position. The Energy Management segment is developing particularly strongly, with revenue doubling compared with the previous year. We are therefore satisfied with the revenue trend," says Michael Finger, Spokesman of the Board of Management. "However, the earnings situation is below our expectations. In particular, delayed price effects on the materials and customer side have unexpectedly impacted earnings. We assume that the measures we have initiated will increasingly take effect in the further course of the fiscal year."
