The technotrans Group welcomes 65 newapprentices and dual students across the group. At the headquarters in Sassenberg, the number of career starters more than doubled from 17 to 36, and in Meinerzhagen it rose from 12 to 16. In total, technotrans will be employing more than 140 apprentices at all its German locations from September this year - compared with 109 in 2022. This increase highlights the growing importance of the company's own junior staff for the technology group in its fight against the shortage of skilled workers. On average, the trainee ratio at the German sites is around ten percent. In a total of 29 different professions, technotrans offers its apprentices plenty of variety, close supervision and long-term career prospects within the company.
"Training is one of the most important tools when it comes to securing the growing demand for skilled workers - and its importance will continue to grow in the future," says Anna-Lena Freese, HR Business Partner and Training Manager at technotrans headquarters in Sassenberg. After a welcome day at the respective locations, the training begins, accompanied by technotrans mentors. These are mainly current and former trainees who actively support the new apprentices.
