The three Solingen vocational colleges are opening their doors once more. The Solingen Technical Vocational College (TBK) at the Klingenhalle offers many opportunities after the completion of Sek I to achieve all general education degrees of Sek I and Sek II. In addition, all degrees are obtained together with vocational orientation or vocational degrees - including the Abitur. There are 12 professionally equipped workshops and laboratories, Mac rooms, and Internet throughout all classrooms. Interested parties can find out about a wide range of the educational programs there - such as training to become a surface coater (m/f/d).
The two other vocational colleges are the Mildred Scheel and Friedrich List vocational colleges: The Mildred Scheel vocational college offers training in the vocational fields of personal hygiene, nutrition and supply management, and health and social services. The Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg is a school with commercial and administrative courses of study where young people with different life paths, experiences and abilities come together and develop academically and personally.
