In addition to the modules of the ERP system, Softec is presenting Omnitec mobile, a portfolio of apps that simplify everyday work in the surface brnche. A highlight of the booth is the Softec Augmented Reality (AR) App, which visitors can try out directly at the booth with their own smartphones. This was developed as part of the SmARtPlaS (Smart Augmented Reality Plating Services) research project. Virtual data boards can be used, for example, to display bath temperature, temperature curves, concentrations in baths, and maintenance information such as planned maintenance work. In addition to text, the app can also display graphics, such as diagrams and external links. Softec will show visitors live at its booth how production can be accompanied and improved by apps. Starting with simple order entry via barcode scan in goods receiving, photo documentation, feedback of PDA and QA data, and creating the loading list during loading - there are apps for many work steps that can be easily integrated into the process, thus reducing walking distances and saving time. To enable visitors to explore the booth interactively with the AR app, the app will be available for download.
