The new fluxes EO-M-023 and EO-M-024 were developed for the continuous surface refinement of copper and brass strips and wires with pure tin, Sn/Pb and other Sn alloys. Their main areas of application are strip tinning and radiator construction. They differ in their bromide content and do not contain any heavy metal compounds such as zinc or zinc ammonium chloride. They are also free of zinc, copper and iron ions.
Consisting of inorganic-organic halogen compounds
Both EO-M-023 and EO-M-024 consist of inorganic-organic halogen compounds. The fluxes are characterized by their ability to dissolve oxides spontaneously and intensively, while they gradually decompose at temperatures of around 230-280°C. Thanks to an adapted process, hardly any residue remains, resulting in a clean and reliable surface finish.
High throughput speed and fast drying
Both fluxes are characterized by a high throughput speed and fast drying. They can be mixed with water, the application dilutions are 1:1 to 1:12. Thanks to their outstanding wetting properties, material can be saved due to the low consumption.
