The combination of SonicTC QuickCheck and Polytec Device Communication enables flexible automation of vibroacoustic test benches in industry—including TCP/IP data streaming and direct integration of laser Doppler vibrometers.

Polytec is expanding the compatibility of its Device Communication Software, making it even easier to integrate laser Doppler vibrometers into automated test benches. The open-source, cross-platform driver for Windows and Linux provides access to hardware parameters, operating states, and the measurement data stream.

Communication is robust via TCP/IP, including streaming of digital vibration data up to the MHz range. This allows vibration-based test processes to be efficiently integrated into existing automation environments.

Test bench automation with SonicTC QuickCheck

The SonicTC QuickCheck test software supports fully or semi-automatic quality tests in production. A configurable sequence control allows sensor functions to be monitored, triggers to be set, and vibration exciters and transport systems to be controlled.

Compatible laser Doppler vibrometers such as IVS-500, VibroGo, or systems from the VibroFlex family are integrated directly via digital interfaces—without additional data acquisition hardware. Other sensors can also be integrated, while type-dependent parameter and algorithm management enables the testing of different component variants on the same system.

Solution is suitable for Industry 4.0

The combination of SonicTC QuickCheck and Device Communication addresses the requirements of modern Industry 4.0 production environments. Open interfaces, flexible programming, and robust data communication create the basis for future-proof, automated vibroacoustic testing processes in industrial quality assurance.
