At ACHEMA 2022 in Frankfurt, Dräger presented products and solutions related to the topic of "Smart Safety". Visitors to the booth were able to see how digital and automated processes increase occupational and plant safety and help reduce emissions. Dräger also offers interested parties advice on the use of hydrogen and alternative energies. "With new energy sources come new challenges for safety, especially for gas detection technology, for our customers," says Dion Stibany, responsible marketing manager.
The new Flame 1750 H2 flame detector was developed explicitly for use in the hydrogen economy. The hydrogen flame is very bright and not or hardly visible to the human eye in daylight. A flame detector is needed that reliably detects hydrogen-based fires and triggers few false alarms. The high-quality sensor technology of the Dräger Flame 1750 H2 enables a high range as well as a high immunity against false alarms.
