Thanks to the combination of protective suit and ventilation vest, users can dispense with heavy respiratory protection equipment. The ventilation vest permanently supplies its wearers with clean breathing air. This is evenly distributed in the suit and has a cooling effect. An automatic self-test determines the correct air flow without the need for preliminary tests. If the air supply drops below the specified air pressure or is interrupted, a warning tone sounds.
The light weight and working without breathing resistance eliminate the need for occupational health screenings. Due to its heat stress-reducing properties on the head and torso, the system is also exempt from wearing time requirements under Rule 112-190 of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). The combination can also be used in potentially explosive atmospheres and can be easily supplemented with other systems from Dräger.
