The organizers of SENSOR+TEST draw a positive balance: 338 exhibitors, more than 5,000 visitors and almost 700 participants of the SMSI 2023 - Sensor and Measurement Science International Conference met in Nuremberg.

"There was a mood of optimism, because not only was there the joy of personal encounters, but future-oriented topics such as energy efficiency, climate protection, sustainability and artificial intelligence were at the top of the list of technical discussions," says organizer Holger Bödeker. With 133 exhibiting companies from 26 countries, the international popularity returned to the values of the time before Corona, as did the proportion of visitors from all over the world, at 27 percent.

The action program included the "Job Lounge" for the first time as a new format designed to facilitate even more targeted contact between skilled workers and companies. Here, exhibitors presented their human resources topics to the public over two days. The program was rounded off by a job exchange and a career center. In the future, the SENSOR+TEST wants to further expand supporting offers for coping with the shortage of skilled workers.
