The jury of the Switchgear Cabinet Construction Innovation Awards was impressed by the sustainable solutions that Sedotec has incorporated into its Vamocon 1250 switchgear cabinet concept. Vamocon 1250 is a modular kit system for low-voltage switchgear from 630 to 1250 amps.
In total, the innovations ensure a saving of around 14 tons of CO2 over the lifetime of the switchgear cabinets. In addition, the system shows up to 20 percent less evaporation. And it is designed in such a way that copper and other raw materials can be saved during its construction. In addition to all these aspects, the jury also praised the high level of personal protection and the freedom in the choice of circuit breakers: Switchgear from ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Efen, Jean Müller and Wöhner can be installed.
