The SFC version of the EBS 410 screw blower from Kaeser is equipped with an integrated frequency converter and synchronous reluctance motor. As a slip-free motor, this type of motor combines the advantages of permanent magnet and asynchronous motors. The volume flow can be adjusted as required thanks to the variable speed. A control range of 1:4 is achieved. The STC version has an energy-saving IE4 super-premium efficiency motor, which reduces energy consumption and energy costs.
Loss-free and maintenance-free gearbox
Both versions are equipped with a loss-free and maintenance-free gearbox. Compared to the previous model, they have a specific output that has been improved by up to eight percent. The complete machine thus achieves an isentropic efficiency of up to 80 percent. A peak value for oil-free compressing machines in this power range.
Easy to control and regulate
The efficiency is uniform across the control range and the volume flow is also virtually unaffected by pressure fluctuations across the entire control range. This means that the blowers can be easily controlled and regulated from the control system at any time.
Low space requirement
The blowers are available in two sizes - up to 37 kW and up to 75 kW. The 37 kW version has a footprint of 2.2 m² (the version up to 75 kW has a footprint of 2.6 m²).
