Registration for the CEC ring trial extended

Anzeige Measuring and testing | Created by BA

Registration for the laboratory round robin test for particulate measuring systems of the Cleaning Excellence Center (CEC) is still possible until 10.05.2024.

By participating in the laboratory round robin test, companies prove that they can successfully carry out cleanliness analyses in accordance with VDA 19.1 on their particulate measuring systems. This is important for audits, accreditations and the customer-supplier relationship.

Comparison of identical reference samples

To prove that a cleanliness analysis can be carried out successfully, an identical reference sample is analyzed in the participating laboratories using the same procedure in accordance with VDA 19.1. At the end, the test results are compared anonymously. Finally, the participants in the round robin test receive an evaluation of their results in accordance with DIN 38402-A45 in a comprehensive results report.

Testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001

In-house laboratories should regularly check their measurement systems as part of their quality management system. They should include this inspection in their quality management manual in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. For accredited testing laboratories, it is even mandatory to regularly take part in interlaboratory tests as part of state approval procedures. Annual participation is recommended as part of the DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
