Companies that submit a presentation for the event organized by the German Surface Technology Association have the opportunity to present their processes and solutions to a specialist audience and generate new contacts. The following main topics are available:
- Circularity in electroplating and surface technology (processes, products, product design) - Hydrogen and surface technology - PFAS: Direct and indirect consequences of a Europe-wide fluoropolymer ban and possible alternatives - Artificial intelligence in electroplating and surface technology (production and management) - Digitalization in surface technology - Technologies/processes/solutions for optimized sustainability performance: energy, carbon footprint, energy efficiency and material efficiency
Topics from everyday practice wanted
We are also looking for contributions for the business forum "Management meets surface". The focus here can be on the following topics: - Maintenance, servicing, warehouse technology - Industry 4.0 and digital networking: Importance and implementation in electroplating and surface technology (best practice) - Energy management in electroplating and surface technology (best practice) - Human resources and recruitment (best practice) -Sustainable, climate-neutral and energy-saving orientation of an electroplating plant (best practice) - Conversion to Cr(III) processes from the perspective of an electroplating plant (best practice) - Anecdotes from everyday electroplating work
Future topics also in demand
Another thematic block covers future topics in surface technology: - Results from research - Young colleagues report - Cathodic corrosion protection - Wear protection and tribology - Functional coatings - New requirements for electroplating and surface technology -From process monitoring to product quality - Advances in plant and control technology - Alternative surface technologies 30 minutes including five to ten minutes for discussion are scheduled for each presentation. Advertising and sales presentations are to be avoided, as is the mention of trademarks, product names, etc. Each presentation proposal must be submitted with an abstract and a short vita of the speaker - both contents as continuous text.
