The core topics of the Hannover Messe included artificial intelligence, hydrogen, energy management, networked and intelligent production, and the new Manufacturing-X data ecosystem. The leading trade fair for industry showed which technologies are already available for competitive and at the same time climate-neutral industrial production. The next step is to put these solutions to use. The international response was great. 43 percent of visitors came from abroad to find out how they can make their production fit for the future. The top visitor countries after Germany were the Netherlands, China, Korea, Poland and the USA.
More than 4000 exhibitors presented their solutions for a digital, connected as well as sustainable industry from April 22 to 26. "However, in order to secure the competitiveness of industry and our prosperity in the long term, bureaucratic obstacles must be quickly dismantled, opportunities fueled and cross-border cooperations concluded," said Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG at the closing press conference.
