The "Irys" terahertz measuring system expands Polytec's product range with a sophisticated system for automated industrial applications. The system works on the basis of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range and offers non-contact and non-destructive ultra-fast measurements of paint and material layers. It performs multi-layer analysis in real time, allowing up to five layers to be recorded simultaneously.
