"We have decided to part with the components division, as we would like to further strengthen and expand our core business in the area of optical metrology," says Dr. Dirk Samiec, business unit manager in the Photonics business division. The product range has been transferred to Jumavis GmbH. The managing director is Johanna Unrath, who has helped shape image processing at Polytec for 15 years.
The Jumavis team will continue to work at Polytec. Existing customer orders can either be processed by Polytec or transferred to Jumavis. Polytec will remain responsible for existing warranty and service claims.
