Plasmatreat founder appoints sons to the management board

Plasmatreat, an expert in atmospheric plasma systems, presented its expanded management team for the first time at the K trade show. The sons of the company founder, Magnus and Lukas Buske, join the management.

Plasmatreat GmbH from Steinhagen was founded in 1995 by Christian Buske. Today, the company has technology centers at its headquarters in Germany as well as in the USA, Canada, China and Japan. In order to initiate an orderly generational change, Christian Buske is expanding the management of Plasmatreat. His son Magnus Buske, who studied business administration and mechanical engineering, brings extensive experience in the adhesives industry from his work at Jowat SE/Detmold. Since 2018, he has held the position of Manager Bonding Applications in his parents' company. Shortly after joining the company, he additionally assumed responsibility for the Research and Development division. In the extended management team of Plasmatreat, he is now furthermore responsible for the areas of purchasing, manufacturing, design, innovation management and the commercial departments.

After completing his master's degree in industrial engineering, son Lukas Buske started his professional career at the VW Group, where he worked in the field of mobile services research. He then gained almost three years of experience as a development engineer at Audi AG in the area of sensors and actuators. From 2017, he managed the PlasmaPlus business unit at Plasmatreat. Since 2019, he has also been Head of Plasma Applications & Market Segment Manager Battery. As a member of the company's extended management team, he will be responsible for sales and service, marketing, human resources, and the development of the individual business units.
