Trade policy uncertainties and a volatile industrial economy characterized the year 2025 for German industry. Boge was nevertheless able to maintain sales at a stable level. At the same time, the management team was completed: Dr. Sebastian Göbel continues to be responsible for the Technology division, while Dr. Björn Six took over as Market Director. With Marc Heht as Global Sales Director, central market and sales functions were restructured.
Technical developments in the product portfolio
The year 2025 was also important for Boge in technical terms. The T-series turbo compressors are established on the market and are already in use in several major projects. The Customized Solutions division also developed positively. There was also a noticeable increase in demand for Inmatec special gas generators, particularly for combined solutions for compressed air and gas generation. Internationally, the US market benefited from modular system solutions, while the Chinese market was more subdued.
Three new product generations announced for 2026
The year 2026 marks several milestones for the Bielefeld-based family business: the entry of the fifth generation into company management and 100 years of compressor development and production. At the same time, the market launch of three new product generations is planned. The first is a new version of the Boge connect remote monitoring system, which increases operational reliability and supports maintenance processes. The new E series for the medium market segment and the third generation of the C series will follow later in the year.
Focus on energy efficiency
Digitalization and energy efficiency remain key focal points of the corporate strategy. As energy consumption determines a large part of the life cycle costs of compressors, Boge is continuously working on more efficient solutions. In addition to existing subsidy programs, the company supports customers in Germany with the Investsmart initiative, which combines tax write-offs with the additional benefits of energy-efficient systems. At the same time, Boge is pursuing the goal of being CO₂-neutral by 2030.
