On April 1, 2025, Dr. Björn Six took over the commercial and market-oriented management and, together with Dr. Sebastian Göbel, forms the new management duo. While Dr. Sebastian Göbel is responsible for technical management, Dr. Björn Six takes over the market-oriented areas of the Bielefeld-based family business.
Experience in business development and digitalization
Dr. Björn Six studied industrial engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering in Darmstadt and subsequently completed his doctorate in innovation management. He joined the Weidmüller Group in 2011, where he was responsible for various business areas with a focus on business development, digitalization and automation. He has also been Managing Director of the software developer AWCP since 2017.
Linking market and technology
The clear division between technical and market-oriented management and the close cooperation between the divisions is aimed at linking technological developments for the compressed air industry with market-oriented strategies in a targeted manner. In this way, Boge aims to strengthen its competitiveness. "I see great potential in the digital transformation in particular, which we will continue to develop together," says Dr. Six.
New Head of Sales
At the same time, Boge is also strengthening its sales department: Marc Heht has held the position of Head of Sales since the beginning of March. With his sales experience in the compressed air business as well as in mechanical and plant engineering, he will help to further expand Boge's market position and network.
