To meet global demand for sustainable and durable building materials, SSAB is expanding its product range of organically coated GreenCoat steel for roof drainage systems. GreenCoat RWS Pural BT, which features a velvety matte appearance, has a bio-based coating with Swedish vegetable oil that is unique in the market, according to the manufacturer.
GreenCoat RWS organically coated steels from SSAB offer high quality, durability and environmental benefits for suspended and box gutters. They are available in a variety of colors and surface textures. The coating on both sides offers protection against corrosion (RC5 according to standard EN10169), gloss resistance and color fastness, and achieves the highest class (Ruv5) according to standard EN 10169. In addition, they have high formability. The partners involved in the development were Piristeel (Finland), Galeco (Poland) and BILKA (Romania).
