The new OIL230 industrial vacuum cleaner series from Nilfisk is designed for the recovery of oil, coolants and metal chips in continuous operation and supports stable cleaning processes in the metal industry.

Cleaning during production places high demands on technology and processes in the metalworking industry. The new OIL230 industrial vacuum cleaner series from the Nilfisk Group is designed for applications where large quantities of metal swarf and cooling lubricants are produced. The device enables simultaneous collection and emptying of the suction material in a single work step and is designed for one-man operation. The subsequent oil and coolant recovery takes place without interrupting the process.

The 70-liter fluid tank can be used in its entirety. Depending on the model and equipment, an external pump delivers up to 1,000 liters within ten minutes. This allows coolants and lubricants to be fed back into the production process.

Designed for continuous use

The industrial vacuum cleaners are designed for continuous use on lathes, milling, grinding and drilling machines. With a suction capacity of up to 340 cubic meters per hour and a maximum vacuum of 210 mbar, the OIL230 can also handle larger quantities of material. A 27-liter chip basket enables longer working intervals. In the so-called E models, the self-priming pump achieves a delivery rate of up to 100 liters per minute.

Design details support continuous operation. The chip basket is positioned at belt height and can be removed without dismantling. The pump is positioned below the vacuum cleaner body, which makes maintenance access easier. A resistant coating on the collection container and filter chamber increases resistance to sharp-edged chips.

Ergonomics and accessories concept

The machine is operated via a central control unit with one switch for all operating modes. The machine concept reduces physically demanding routine tasks and shortens set-up times. An integrated accessory system keeps things tidy at the place of use. Hoses are routed in upward-facing holders, while accessories are stored in a separate basket directly on the machine. The power cable and drip tray are also permanently integrated.

Clever safety concept

The safety concept includes an electronic liquid shut-off to prevent the collection container from overflowing. An integrated oil mist filter protects both the operating personnel and the engine. Sealed inlet and accessory components as well as a drip tray reduce the risk of leaks and accidental contamination in the working environment.

According to the Nilfisk Group, the OIL230 helps to stabilize cleaning processes, reduce downtime and economically support the reuse of oil and coolants.
